The Destination Thailand Visa (DTV) is a multi-entry, long-term visa introduced by the Thai government to attract remote professionals, freelancers, soft-power practitioners (Muay Thai, Thai cuisine, Thai language), and dependents. It allows you to stay in Thailand for up to 180 days per entry, renewable, with a total validity of 5 years.

Eligibility conditions
Based on official Thai immigration sources, applicants must generally meet the following conditions:
- ✓Be at least 20 years old (minors may qualify as dependents of an eligible primary applicant).
- ✓Hold a valid passport (at least 6 months of validity).
- ✓Have at least 500,000 THB / ~13,500 EUR / ~15,000 USD available on your bank account.
- ✓Apply from outside Thailand (a Thai embassy or consulate in your country of residence).
- ✓Provide supporting documents: proof of remote work (employment contract, freelance invoices, client contracts), or proof of enrollment for soft-power activities, or medical treatment documentation, or family ties for dependents.
